On March 25, 2025, a bus from Shefali Travels was going from Kolhapur to Mumbai on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
Early in the morning, around 5:00 AM, the bus caught fire and went off the road. Luckily, all 36 passengers on the bus were able to get out safely.
The bus driver acted quickly and helped everyone leave the bus before the fire got worse. Because of the driver's training and quick thinking, everyone was safe.
When the fire started, emergency help came fast. Three fire engines arrived and put out the fire quickly. They did a great job, and the fire didn't stop other cars from using the expressway.
This event showed how important safety rules are. The driver followed the rules, and the passengers got off the bus in an organized way. The firefighters worked together well, too. Everyone did their part to make sure everyone was safe.
This bus fire was a serious situation, but because of the quick actions of the driver and the emergency team, all the passengers were unharmed.
It reminds us that it's very important to have strong safety rules and to be ready for emergencies, especially when it's early in the morning and the road can be tricky.
