karnataka smuggler arrested ganja

Pune Crime Branch Arrests Karnataka Smuggler With 60 Kg Ganja Worth 12 Lakh

The Pune Crime Branch caught a 28-year-old man named Nadeem Moiz Shaikh. He's from a place called Bidar in Karnataka. The police found him while he was driving on Shankarsheth Road. They took away 60 kilograms of ganja, which is a type of illegal drug. The ganja is worth about ₹12 lakh, which is a lot of money.

The police stopped Nadeem's car near a place called Seven Loves Chowk. They found the ganja hidden in many bags inside his vehicle. This was part of a special operation led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Nikhil Pingle. Inspector Ulhas Kadam and Assistant Inspector Aniket Pote helped catch the smuggler.

After catching him, the police made a report about Nadeem and said he broke the law by carrying drugs. They're now trying to find out if he's connected to bigger groups that sell drugs. They want to know where the ganja came from and how it's being sold.

This is an important step in stopping drug selling in Pune. The police are looking into Nadeem's past to see if he's done this before and if there are other people involved.

The Crime Branch's Anti-Narcotics Cell is working hard to make sure that illegal drugs don't spread in the area. They're keeping a close watch to keep everyone safe.
