Pune: Two MBA Students Die in Motorcycle Crash on Paud Phata Flyover

Two MBA students from Pune had a very sad accident on their motorcycle. This happened on the Paud Phata flyover in the early morning on April 3, 2025. Sarvesh Gopal Patil, who was 20 years old, and Pushkar Sudhakar Choudhary, who was 19, were coming back from getting a late-night snack when their fast motorcycle hit the flyover’s railings at about 3:15 AM.

This accident makes people worry a lot about motorcycle safety and wearing helmets.

People who saw the accident said the motorcycle skidded about 10 meters after it hit the railings. One of the helmets was found on a student’s arm, but there were no helmets at the crash site. This means neither of the students was wearing a helmet when the accident happened. Not wearing helmets made their injuries much worse.

Patil had serious head injuries and was declared dead when he got to the hospital. Choudhary had many internal injuries and a broken rib. He died a few days later. This shows how important it’s to always wear helmets when riding motorcycles.

Senior Inspector Sandeep Deshmane is looking into what happened. He wants to find out why the students chose that route and why they didn’t wear helmets.

This accident teaches us that we need to follow safety rules when riding motorcycles to keep everyone safe.
