Commuters at Pune railway station will soon have a better way to move around! Two new passenger lifts are ready at platforms 1 and 6. One of the new lifts is especially helpful if you're going from the Pune Metro station to platform number 6. It's placed there to help people switch between the Metro and the train without any trouble.
These two lifts are part of a bigger plan to add four lifts to the station to make it easier for people to go up and down. You will be able to use the lifts at platforms 1 and 6 very soon. The other two lifts are still being built and will be between platforms 2 and 3, and between platforms 4 and 5. They're expected to be finished by the end of this year.
Once everything is done, there will be four lifts in total at the station. The railway team wants to make sure your time at the station is better and easier. With all four lifts working, it will be much simpler for everyone to move between the different platforms.
