Lohegaon XI Wins Cricket Cup 2025
Sixteen teams played hard in the Jansuraksha Cricket Cup 2025. The games were held at Symbiosis College Ground in Viman Nagar, Pune, on March 27 and 28. This tournament aimed to bring the community together and get young people involved in sports. Many local cricket fans came to watch, showing how much the event meant to everyone.
In the final match, Lohegaon XI won and took home the big trophy! They also got ₹21,000 for being the best team. The J Boys Cricket Team from Ramwadi came in second place and won ₹11,000. The Airport Police Station Cricket Team was third and received ₹7,000. This shows that many teams played really well.
Some players were recognized for doing an amazing job. Ganesh Ithape was the Best Batsman because he hit the ball very well. Arvind Thakur was the Best Bowler because he bowled great balls during the tournament.
The tournament was a success because it brought together teams from different areas. It helped strengthen the bond between police and local people through cricket.
